The U.S. Ski and Snowboard SuperTour presented by the National Nordic Foundation is recognized by FIS as the Continental Cup for the United States—the highest level of competition in the country. The overall leader of the SuperTour after each Period is granted World Cup Start rights for the following Period of World Cup (with expenses paid by FIS). Top racers compete head-to-head in a variety of disciplines across the country, with World Cup start spots and funding on the line. Soldier Hollow is the second stop during Period 1 of the 2026-2027 Super Tour, and includes a skate sprint, a classic interval start, and a skate mass start race.
